Autumn 2014 I made a major change in my life and I moved from the States to Paris to become an au pair to two wonderful kiddos. In that time, I rode bikes in Amsterdam, spent New Year’s in Berlin and climbed to the top of the Eiffel Tower. That year changed the entire course of my life. What was supposed to be a year of travel that would end with my getting the *typical* 9-5 afterwards instead turned into 7+ years of blissful wandering that’s taken me across eleven countries and three continents so far. Living in Paris as an au pair changed my life forever.
This is my story of that year.
